Job summary

Granite Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to provide QHSE support to cross-site delivery teams involved in major maintenance and engineering activities across UK offshore wind assets. The role will support heavy lift operations, component exchanges, and specialist offshore tasks, ensuring safe planning, mobilisation and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore environments as Senior HSE Advisor or similar.
• Experience supporting offshore wind and/or oil & gas operations.
• Strong knowledge of high-risk operations and project execution.
• Experience facilitating HAZID sessions and other structured risk assessments.
• Knowledge of Bowtie methodologies, barrier management, performance standards, and assurance activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and mobilisation activities to ensure safe execution of work scopes.
• Develop and review RAMS.
• Provide visible HSE leadership through offshore site visits, inspections, audits, emergency drills, and exercises.
• Investigate incidents and ensure reporting, analysis, and implementation of lessons learned.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on standardisation, procedural enhancements, and risk reduction.
• Support the development and implementation of emergency response standards and assurance activities.
• Facilitate HAZID workshops and other risk assessment activities.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across project and operational teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
