Job summary

Safety Talent Limited is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to support a major water infrastructure contract across Worthing, Brighton and surrounding East Sussex sites. The role combines hands-on fieldwork with stakeholder engagement to sustain high safety standards on live projects.

You'll work with operational teams, site management and subcontractors, conducting inspections, reviewing RAMS, incident investigations and driving practical safety improvements while promoting a positive

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate required, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years' experience in a safety advisory role on construction or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and site safety practices.
• Experience leading investigations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day safety support across multiple sites with project teams.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Offer practical safety advice to site managers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work; support environmental and wellbeing initiatives.
