Job summary

Wood in Aberdeen is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to lead health, safety and environmental activities on a permanent, full-time basis. The role blends office collaboration with a hybrid working pattern, three days in the office and two days remote.

The Senior HSE Advisor will provide timely guidance on HSE matters, ensure compliance with legislation and policy, and support project teams across O&G, renewables, pharmaceuticals and chemicals with a focus on risk prevention and continuous

Qualifications

• Proven experience in health, safety and environment (HSE) management.
• Strong grasp of UK HSE legislation and policy.
• Ability to influence across teams and sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely advice on HSE matters in line with legislation and policy.
• Support risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Assist project teams to maintain compliant and safe operations across designs, EPCC activities and client requirements.

Wood is looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to join our busy team on a full time, permanent basis at our offices in Altens, Aberdeen. The role is offered on a hybrid basis - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

The Role

The Senior HSE Advisor will be responsible for the provision of timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and the Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Policy and Management System and Client requirements, thereby ensuring business risks are prevented and mitigated.

Wood is currently growing their project and modification portfolio of key EPCC opportunities spanning 3-5 years longevity. This will include projects in full lifecycles ranging from early Study / FEED into detail design which will cover sectors within the O&G, renewable energy, pharmaceutical and chemicals.
