Balfour Beatty are looking for a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our Power Transmission and Distribution team, supporting a variety of power projects across the North of the UK. This role will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Health and Safety Advisors across projects in the North. Each week, the Senior Advisor will spend time at the different projects, working alongside Advisors to provide mentoring, coaching and professional support. The project locations include: Tyne & Wear, Middlesbrough, Harrogate, Leeds and Manchester. Due to the geographical spread of the projects, the base location for this role is flexible. However, the successful candidate must be willing to travel regularly on a weekly basis. A company car will be provided, and all business travel expenses will be reimbursed. This is a hybrid role, combining site visits, regional travel and home working. The Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor will provide expert HS&W advice, guidance and support to project teams, helping to embed a positive culture where health is given the same priority as safety. The role will involve proactively identifying emerging trends, analysing performance data and sharing insights with management teams to drive continuous improvement and implement effective health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across the business.
