Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a HR & Payroll Senior Data Migration Analyst to lead end-to-end data migration for a large-scale transformation. You will manage extracts from legacy systems, cleansing, mapping to SAP structures, and validating results post-load, coordinating with stakeholders and Capgemini to ensure a smooth go-live.

The role is based at Quorum Business Park in Newcastle or in Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, on a 12-month basis, and offers a competitive salary plus car allowance,

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data migration projects, ideally HR/payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of HR and payroll data structures, including employee master data and payroll processes.
• Hands-on experience validating, cleansing, mapping, and loading data between systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP HCM/ECC6 or similar SAP modules.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across HR, Payroll, IT, and partners.
• Ability to manage sensitive personal and payroll data in line with data protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and complete extraction of HR and payroll data from legacy systems.
• Improve data quality by cleansing and resolving data issues before migration.
• Deliver accurate mapping of HR/payroll data to SAP structures.
• Support SAP data loads by preparing, validating, and troubleshooting migration files.
• Provide post-migration validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
• Enable successful UAT and Parallel Runs by providing high-quality data and resolving defects.
• Maintain audit trails and migration documentation for governance and sign-off.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and partners to resolve issues and manage risks.
• Contribute to project planning, cutover readiness, RAID management, and status reporting.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and documentation for long-term data maintenance.
• Oversee migration of ~2,300 employee records from legacy systems into SAP ECC6.
