Job summary

T.M. Lewin is expanding and seeks an experienced Senior HR Coordinator to own core HR operations, support managers and employees, and improve processes as the business grows.

You will handle lifecycle administration, contracts, payroll input, HRIS (Sage HR) management and onboarding across multiple sites. The role requires strong Excel skills and knowledge of UK employment law, with a pragmatic, collaborative approach and ability to escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations, coordination or senior HR administration.
• Experience preparing contracts and lifecycle documentation independently.
• Hands-on payroll input preparation for outsourced payroll.
• Confident HRIS management (Sage HR), including data, workflows & reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and interest in using tech/automation to improve HR processes.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and compliance requirements.
• Sound judgement to handle routine matters independently and escalate when needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
• Collaborative style with ability to build relationships across the business.
• Retail/hospitality or multi-site experience is helpful.
• CIPD qualification or study desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own employee lifecycle administration from offer to leavers.
• Prepare contracts and changes independently.
• Own monthly payroll input process with Finance and payroll provider.
• Lead HRIS activities for Sage HR, maintaining data quality and reporting.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activity.
• Provide practical support to employees and managers on routine matters.
• Support managers with probation, absence management and return-to-work.
• Administer employee relations and escalate when needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
