Cpl Group in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Senior HR Officer to join a world class manufacturing business. The role covers full generalist HR duties across all departments.

You will provide operational HR support, handle employee relations, coach line managers, and contribute to delivering high-quality HR services while meeting time and quality targets. The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification or CIPD, at least five years in generalist HR, and strong

• Minimum of five years’ experience in a generalist HR role
• Experience handling complex employee relations matters
• Coaching experience with line management and staff
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable and flexible with teamwork
• Good analytical, planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office

Your new role:

As Senior HR Officer the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist in the provision of the full range of Human Resource (HR) duties across all departments within the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the provision of a quality human resource service, ensuring the required standards of service are delivered to the organisation.
• Providing operational HR support across departments
• Delivering a quality HR service that meets company time and quality targets
• Offering coaching and support to line management and staff
• Handling employee relations matters

Essential Criteria:

Relevant 3rd level qualification and/or CIPD

Qualification:

• Minimum of five years’ experience working in a generalist HR role
• Previous experience in dealing with complex employee relations matters
• Previous experience in providing coaching support to line management and staff
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills

• Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment
