Job summary

CPL Group in Armagh is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function in a standalone role. You will shape the people strategy, advise managers, manage end‑to‑end HR processes and drive a compliant, high‑performing culture.

You'll oversee payroll, recruitment, policies and HR systems, while supporting wellbeing and health & safety initiatives. The role offers a 39‑hour week in a permanent, full‑time position with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) or above
• Minimum two years' experience in a broad stand‑alone HR Generalist position
• Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation and HR best practice
• Proven experience managing employee relations cases
• Experience leading recruitment and onboarding activities
• Ability to influence, coach and support managers effectively
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using HRIS systems and producing HR reports

About the role

As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead all day-to-day HR activities and serve as the trusted advisor to managers and employees across the business. You'll have the opportunity to influence business decisions, enhance people processes and create meaningful employee experiences while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the HR function, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Drive employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and performance matters.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership and people management capability.

• Monday-Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
