Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is acting as Exclusive Partner for a leading charity in the South Midlands, seeking an experienced HR Manager for Milton Keynes and Northampton offices. The role covers HR operations, ER, EDI, HRIS, payroll and development, with travel between offices supported by the charity.

The successful candidate will partner with the Director of HR to foster a values-led, supportive environment where managers and staff feel valued and able to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred or equivalent
• Experience as HR Manager/HRBP in organisations around 100 staff
• Strong ER and employment law advisory capability
• Experience in Not for Profit sector is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HRBP/HRM services ensuring compliant HR processes
• Provide practical HR guidance to senior managers, employees and volunteers
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and DBS/Right to Work checks
• Oversee payroll processes and benefits administration
• Develop HR reporting on headcount, turnover and absence
• Support well-being, learning and development initiatives
• Collaborate with Director of People & Culture on strategic priorities
• Promote inclusive culture and effective communication across sites
