Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a well-established organisation in County Armagh to recruit a Senior HR Officer on a permanent basis. You will provide generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle, covering employee relations, absence management, recruitment, payroll queries, HR systems and reporting.

The successful candidate will have experience as an HR Officer/Generalist, strong knowledge of NI employment legislation, recruitment experience, and proficiency with HR information

Qualifications

• Previous HR Officer/HR Generalist experience.
• Experience handling employee relations in Northern Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation.
• Experience with recruitment and employee lifecycle.
• Proficient with HR information systems.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR guidance to managers and employees.
• Support absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
• Respond to general HR and payroll queries.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
• Prepare HR reports and key workforce metrics.
• Support improvements to HR systems and processes.
• Contribute to employee engagement, learning and wider HR projects.
• Build effective relationships across the organisation.
