Senior HR & Employee Relations Advisor- Runcorn- 12-month FTC

Join a progressive educational organisation as a Senior HR & Employee Relations Advisor providing expert, people-focused HR support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across the organisation, supporting employee relations, workforce planning, engagement and organisational development within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead regional employee relations, resolving complex people issues quickly and effectively.
  • Drive recruitment and attraction, partnering with central teams to build strong teams.
  • Shape HR policies and best practice, ensuring a compliant, effective and people-focused approach.
  • Use HR data and insight to identify improvements and drive regional people strategies.
  • Champion learning and development, ensuring leaders and HR teams have the skills and support to succeed.
  • Lead people-focused change, supporting organisational transformation, performance and culture.
  • Collaborate across the People team, sharing best practice and driving innovative solutions aligned to organisational priorities.
Key Requirements:
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) with a passion for developing your HR expertise.
  • Strong HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in handling complex employee relations and casework.
  • Educational sector experience, with a strong understanding of the challenges impacting HR.
  • Previous team leadership experience desirable.
