Job summary

Broadgate is seeking an HR Consultant to join our growing People Consultancy team in Glasgow. This hybrid role suits an HR professional with 2+ years’ experience who wants to broaden their career into consultancy and work with a variety of clients.

You’ll provide practical HR advice across employee relations, recruitment and policy development, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development and HR tooling. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR experience in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of HR practice, employee relations and employment legislation.
• Experience in internal HR or consultancy.
• Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills.
• Ability to build client relationships and advise managers.
• Commercial, practical approach to problem solving.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.
• Interest in developing HR and consultancy career.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.

HR Consultant | Glasgow - Hybrid | Client-Site Travel

We’re looking for an HR Consultant to join a growing People Consultancy team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with 2+ years’ experience who wants to broaden their experience, work with a variety of businesses and develop their career within consultancy. If you're currently working in an internal HR role and looking to make the move into consultancy, this could be a great next step. No two days will be the same. You'll work with clients across a range of sectors and at different stages of their growth, providing practical, commercial HR advice and helping them solve real people challenges.

You'll be involved in:

You’ll work closely with experienced Senior Consultants who will support your development while giving you the opportunity to take ownership and build your consultancy skills.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercial, curious, solutions-focused and great with people.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2+ years' HR experience
• Strong knowledge of HR practice, employee relations and employment legislation
• Experience in an internal HR or consultancy environment
• Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills
• The confidence to build relationships with clients and advise managers
• A practical and commercially focused approach to problem solving
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• CIPD qualified or willing to work towards the qualification
• A genuine interest in developing your HR and consultancy career
• Full driving licence and access to a car – essential
