Job summary

Salford City College Group in Salford is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the HR Business Partner function and support a dynamic, unionised environment. The role reports to the Head of HR and will manage a small team of HR professionals.

You will provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, partner with managers and trade union representatives, and help drive learning and development initiatives across the organisation, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Chartered CIPD professional (FCIPD desirable)
• Significant HR Business Partnering experience
• Extensive employee relations experience in a unionised environment
• Experience leading, coaching and developing others

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR Business Partner function and manage a team of two HR Business Partners and an HR Adviser
• Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters
• Build strong relationships with managers and trade union representatives
• Support delivery of people-focused initiatives and oversee Learning & Development
