Qualifications

• HR professional with senior level experience and independence.
• Led complex employee relations casework.
• Experience in a unionised environment with trade unions.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and directors.
• Strong judgement, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience of organisational change and workforce planning.
• Ability to analyse HR data and develop plans.
• Proactive, resilient with minimal supervision.
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent senior experience.
• Degree-level qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into people plans.
• Lead complex employee relations casework and unions.
• Advise on contractual and employment matters with risk management.
• Coach managers on policy application.
• Support change, restructures, and workforce planning.
• Use HR data to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop and review HR policies and procedures.
• Support engagement, learning, and succession planning.
• Manage workload independently with HR administrator.
