Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to deliver proactive HR services across the Cleveland and Middlesbrough area. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with the Mayor’s vision and organisational imperatives.

You will lead the HR Partner service delivery, drive change management, and work closely with the Wider Leadership Team to provide specialist HR advice on TUPE, employee relations, pensions, equality and diversity. This is a full-time temporary contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive HR services to drive continual improvement and support strategic priorities.
• Develop and embed the HR Business Partner model to enable managers to meet priorities.
• Translate change management into operational actions and build relationships with leaders.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking to reduce dependency and promote management independence.
• Provide specialist HR knowledge on TUPE, Employee Relations, Pensions, Equality and Diversity.
• Lead the HR service and regional stakeholders in partnership development.
• Drive transformation and improve customer service across the organisation.
• Review and implement HR policies in line with legislation.
