Job description

This is an opportunity for a strategic HR leader to take on a career-defining challenge in a new role at an exciting time for the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA).

Why this role?

You will play a pivotal role in embedding and leading the organisation's HRBP model, ensuring its effective development, implementation, and measurement. You will oversee a team of HR Business Partners, an HR Project & Data Manager, and a Project Officer, aligning HR strategy with organisational transformation priorities.

As the Deputy to the Head of HR and OD, you will drive cultural change, champion workforce transformation, and lead strategic HR projects to foster an agile, high-performing, and inclusive workforce.

This role offers an exciting chance to influence and shape the organisation’s future, ensuring HR is central to transformation and operational excellence.

Salary ranges are advertised, with new hires typically starting at the lowest salary point, with potential for progression based on skill and experience. The salary point may be adjusted for highly qualified candidates.
