Job summary

Macmillan Davies is supporting a luxury brand with a Senior HR Advisor maternity cover within the HR team. The role partners with the CPO and HR leadership to deliver people strategy and ensure day-to-day HR operations run smoothly.

We seek a commercially minded HR generalist with hands-on approach, ready to hit the ground running and influence senior stakeholders while ensuring compliance and process discipline across the function.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
• Strong generalist HR and employee relations experience.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect people decisions with business outcomes.
• Confidence influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
• Sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to complex HR matters.
• Experience working in a lean, fast-paced HR environment.
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR contact for line managers and leaders, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
• Build stakeholder relationships and provide constructive challenge where appropriate.
• Support performance management, talent reviews and wider people processes.
• Coach managers on performance, conduct and absence matters.
• Manage complex employee relations cases with risk management and fair outcomes.
• Deliver training, including performance management and line manager training.
• Work with HR Operations Lead to ensure effective processes, policies and compliance.
• Support global mobility and visa processes where required.
• Assist with people reporting and provide insight to the CPO and Board.
