Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the HR Advisory Team to provide HR support and guidance across service areas. The role includes managing a complex employee relations caseload and collaborating with managers and partners to deliver policy development and people management solutions.

You will work in a blended model from County Hall, combining home working with in-person meetings as needed, and contribute to a compassionate, people-first HR approach

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advice and guidance drawing on up-to-date HR best practice and employment legislation.
• Proactive development of professional practice as an HR practitioner.
• Team player with a compassionate, people-first approach to queries and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Providing HR advisory support to an assigned service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners such as payroll, Occupational Health, Health and Safety, EDI and Recruitment.
• Represent HR on panels for ill-health, grievance, performance and disciplinary issues and on appeal panels.
• Coach managers to develop people management skills and confidence in handling complex HR issues.
