Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnering
- Build strong relationships with business unit leaders and Line Management to understand their goals and challenges.
- Translate business needs into people strategies that support growth, performance, and culture.
- Leading People Specific Projects, responsible for reporting and successful delivery
- Provide training and guidance to managers on Line Management Leadership and HR best practice.
- Lead and support integrations via company acquisitions and TUPE
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Champion a positive employee experience, embedding company values and culture across business units.
- Use engagement survey insights to drive targeted action plans and track progress.
- Support change management and organisational development efforts.
Performance & Talent
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with other Business Partners on development programmes and career pathways, Identifying skills gaps to address capability needs.
Employee Relations & Policy
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Support policy development and ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practice.
- Partner with wider People Team to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
- Use data and analytics to inform decisions, reporting against agreed KPI’s and measuring impact.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a generalist advisory HR role, ideally with exposure to business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working with data and insights to inform decisions.
