Job summary

David Lewis is seeking a Human Resources Adviser to influence people, culture and organisational success across almost 1,200 colleagues. You’ll support managers, handle complex Employee Relations matters, and contribute to wellbeing, performance and workforce development within a large charity.

Join a collaborative People Team and help shape policy, strategic HR initiatives and delivery of excellent HR practices across the organisation, with a focus on delivering real impact for colleagues.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification and membership.
• Proven Employee Relations experience in a busy HR environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills.
• Confident working with managers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on Employee Relations matters, employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
• Manage and support a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters.
• Coach and develop managers to build confidence in people management.
• Support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Deliver training and workshops on HR-related topics.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support policy development and implementation across the organisation.
• Analyse trends and data to inform workforce decisions and planning.
