Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions’ HPAPI Research and Manufacturing facility in Riverview is seeking a qualified Process Development Scientist to join the Process Development team. You will develop and optimize current and new manufacturing processes for HPAPI and related APIs.

The role requires advanced degrees in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry and experience with analytical techniques. Candidates must understand regulatory requirements and be able to document processes thoroughly.

Qualifications

• PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with up to 4 years of relevant experience.
• MS in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with up to 8 years of relevant experience.
• BS in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with up to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of organic chemistry and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, conduct, and manage process development for current and new synthetic pathways.
• Perform routine analytical testing to monitor process progress (HPLC, NMR, XRPD, GC-HS, KF).
• Scale-up preparative HPLC purification and lyophilization of intermediates and products.
• Maintain communications with clients and ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure compliant documentation and adherence to cGMP guidelines.
