Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Development Manager to join the Development and Investment team to deliver high-quality new homes across Cornwall. You will lead development projects from approval through construction to completion, ensuring quality, budget control and compliance.

Hybrid working is available; you will base at Tolvaddon with travel to developments across Cornwall. The role requires strong governance, risk management, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or property development with managing complex projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of development processes, post-construction practices and contract law.
• Understanding of viability, risk management and property valuation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of affordable, mixed tenure and open market development projects within plans and budgets.
• Oversee project specifications, contracts and procurement with consultants and contractors.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, milestones, risks and ensure governance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track.
• Support and develop the team, applying lessons learned to future developments.
