Job summary

MADE Careers is recruiting a Senior Architect for a leading London practice with strong UK housing experience. You will lead design and delivery on large residential schemes, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities.

Ideal candidates will command strong design judgment, technical Revit proficiency and an ability to manage complex multidisciplinary information while navigating planning requirements. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Strong UK residential and housing experience.
• Experience leading housing-led developments.
• Good understanding of mixed-tenure housing and planning requirements.
• Strong design and technical ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop design proposals for large scale residential schemes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and technical information.
• Produce and oversee coordinated architectural information in Revit.
• Contribute to planning submissions and client presentations.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities to deliver schemes.
• Ensure designs comply with housing policy, planning guidance and regulations.
• Support design development and technical delivery across projects.
• Balance design quality with buildability, sustainability and commercial requirements.
• Mentor wider architectural project teams.
