Job summary

The Other House, a luxury hospitality concept in London, seeks a Senior Engineer to support the Chief Engineer across the property. You’ll oversee engineering and maintenance for all operations, ensuring guest comfort and safety while upholding health, safety, and sustainability standards.

Lead a diverse team, manage budgets, and coordinate with security and management to deliver exceptional experiences for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior engineering role within hospitality.
• Ability to oversee engineering and maintenance across a luxury property.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, supervising, and implementing repairs and maintenance
• Overseeing efficient operation of property utilities
• Maintaining guest facilities for comfort and safety
• Enforcing local building, fire, and safety regulations
• Assisting with Fire Life Safety checklists
• Collaborating with Head of Security on Health & Safety
• Managing repairs and improvements on front-of-house areas
• Overseeing painting, carpentry, and general upkeep
• Monitoring preventive maintenance programs
• Understanding IT infrastructure and coordinating swift IT solutions
