Job summary

Educato Recruitment are working with a growing Alternative Provision in Rochdale who are looking for an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about supporting young people with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs, and who thrives in a setting where building strong relationships is at the heart of education.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Experience delivering learning activities and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the provision.
• Deliver planned lessons, activities and interventions.
• Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Support safeguarding and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Provide cover for lessons when required.
• Monitor pupil progress and feed back to staff.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience.
