Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming SEN primary school in Romford, supporting children aged 2-11 with complex needs, including autism, PMLD and SLD. You will lead small group sessions, assist with planning and delivering tailored activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

HLTA status or relevant higher-level qualification, experience with SEN, strong communication and teamwork, and safeguarding

Qualifications

• HLTA status or a relevant higher-level qualification.
• Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Ability to lead small groups and support differentiated learning.
