Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced HLTA to support primary schools in Nottingham and surrounding areas, with flexible day-to-day and longer-term opportunities.

You will lead lessons, support teachers, and manage classrooms across year groups, providing 1:1 or small-group interventions as needed. DBS checks and professional references may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a TA/HLTA or in a similar primary education role.
• Confidence leading lessons and small-group interventions.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain positive behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons and deliver planned activities across year groups.
• Support teachers and pupils with learning and behavior management.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group interventions as required.
• Cover class in the absence of the main teacher.
