Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex SEND in Wolverhampton on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The role offers stable daily rate payments under PAYE and a supportive, collaborative environment within a specialist setting.

You will assist across learning activities, lead sessions where appropriate and work closely with teachers to deliver consistent, individualised support, helping pupils develop

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience at HLTA level.
• Experience with children or young people with complex SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Confidence leading learning activities and classroom management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the setting and lead activities where appropriate.
• Work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent, individualised support for pupils with complex SEND.
