Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is recruiting a Senior HIL Engineer - Powertrain to work at a customer site in Gaydon. The role focuses on delivering HIL, PIL and LabCar validation environments for electric and hybrid powertrain control systems, with emphasis on ePowertrain, HV energy management and VSC.

The candidate will model, maintain and test ePowertrain systems, lead debugging, and contribute to robust test methods within a global V&V team.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, electronic, automotive or controls engineering.
• Experience with HIL/ECU validation in automotive projects.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid/ePowertrain validation and VSC functions.

Responsibilities

• Own HIL plant-model development and integration for hybrid ePowertrain systems.
• Develop and maintain real-time HIL, PIL and LabCar test environments.
• Plan and execute ECU software testing including diagnostics and robustness.
• Perform root cause analysis and evidence-based fault isolation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on test results and improvements.
• Guide engineers on modelling, rig operation and debugging methods.
