Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. in Leamington Spa is seeking a Technical Specialist – HIL RIG to lead end-to-end V&V for EV charging systems. You will design and commission HIL rigs, define validation strategies, and mentor 15+ engineers across automotive programs.

The role focuses on charging systems, tooling like dSPACE Scalexio and NI LabVIEW, and ensuring ASPICE-aligned processes with cross-functional teams. On-site, Leamington Spa location.

Qualifications

• Extensive HIL, MIL, SIL and PIL validation experience.
• Experience with ASPICE and ISO 26262 functional safety.
• Experience with EV charging protocols CCS, ISO 15118, IEC 61851.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on embedded software development in C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end V&V for EV charging systems across automotive programs.
• Design, implement and commission HIL systems using dSPACE Scalexio and NI LabVIEW.
• Define V&V methods across HIL/MIL/SIL/PIL environments.
• Mentor 15+ engineers in model development and automation.
• Develop plant and control models in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
• Prepare test documentation and ensure traceability.
• Drive test automation with Python, CAPL, AutomationDesk, LabVIEW, CANoe and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with OEMs and Tier-1 to resolve integration issues.
• Support ASPICE-aligned development processes.
