Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is recruiting a Senior HIL Engineer - Powertrain to be based at our customer’s Gaydon office.

The role focuses on hardware-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop validation for electric and hybrid powertrain control systems, with emphasis on ePowertrain, front and rear motors, and Vehicle Supervisory Control. You will lead HIL modelling, maintenance, ECU software testing and root-cause analysis, working within a multidisciplinary global V&V team to deliver robust testing

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, electronic, automotive, controls, mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Relevant automotive systems, HIL or ECU validation experience with ownership.
• Fluent in English and strong technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Own HIL plant-model development and integration for hybrid ePowertrain and Vehicle Supervisory Control.
• Develop, configure and maintain real-time HIL, PIL and LabCar test environments using NI and dSPACE platforms.
• Plan and conduct ePowertrain ECU software testing including functional, integration and regression tests.
• Perform root-cause analysis and evidence-based fault isolation across ECU software, models, automation and hardware.
