Job summary

Carrington West in London is seeking an experienced Highways Structures and Surface Engineer to join on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on delivering safe, durable highway structures across asset life cycle, from planning through to maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of legislation, standards and best practices for surface and highway structures, and will work across planning, design, construction and inspection to safeguard performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of legislation, standards and best practice for Surface and Highway Structures.
• Ensure safety, integrity and efficiency of Surface and Highway Structures across the asset life cycle.
• Engage in planning, design, construction, operation, inspection and maintenance activities.
• Address effects of inclement weather, climate change and third-party works.
