Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Principal Consultant/Associate to lead highways and infrastructure projects from Leicester. You will manage scope, programme, budget and stakeholders, while guiding technical direction and quality across residential and development schemes.

With a strong civil engineering background, you will influence project governance, support health and safety in design, and mentor teams. Hybrid working is available across UK locations.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering; professional membership of ICE and/or CIHT or eligibility.
• Significant experience delivering highways and development infrastructure projects.
• Experience in fee preparation, resource forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Knowledge of Section 278/38 highway works and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and delivery of residential, development and strategic infrastructure projects.
• Manage scope, programme, budget, resources, risk, quality and commercial performance.
• Provide technical direction, design review and challenge across projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and support professional development.
