A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Technician/Senior Technician for their Highways and Infrastructure Design Team. This role involves contributing to highways projects, preparing design drawings, and providing technical advice. Candidates should have a minimum HNC in civil engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a collaborative approach. The position offers flexibility in location with offices in Liverpool, Leeds, and Manchester.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway or transportation design.
• Experience with drainage design is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to successful delivery of highways/infrastructure projects.
• Prepare detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support planning and design phases of local highway schemes.
• Provide technical advice and solutions in project team.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD
