Randstad CPE is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead major highway reconstruction schemes in the East Midlands. You will take operational, commercial, and safety leadership to deliver schemes on time, within budget, and to highway standards, coordinating with clients, designers, authorities, and stakeholders.

The role requires a track record of delivering live highway projects for Tier 1/2 civil contractors, with NEC contract experience (Options A/C), strong leadership, and a UK

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent industry experience).
• Proven experience leading major highway schemes for Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil contractors.
• Active CSCS Black Card, SMSTS, and a valid UK driving licence (APM or professional membership desirable).
• Strong command of NEC forms of contract (Options A/C), program risk management, and collaborative framework delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end scheme delivery, ensuring projects complete safely, on program, within budget, and to highway specifications.
• Act as the primary interface with client representatives, designers, statutory authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Direct site operations and supply chain partners, ensuring strict adherence to CDM regulations and high-speed road safety standards.
• Drive commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team, overseeing NEC change management, forecasts, and risks.
