Job summary

First Military Recruitment is partnering with a national construction business to recruit a High Voltage Systems Project Manager for a permanent role based at their Snowdonia depot. The successful candidate will lead HV cable and plant subcontractors, oversee HV/MEP design deliverables, and ensure they align with the project programme and client requirements.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience on high voltage projects as a contractor.
Experience on National Grid projects (400kV/275kV/132kV) preferred.
Experience with design & build projects and broad construction knowledge.
Knowledge of National Grid transmission procedures and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead HV cable and HV plant subcontractors ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Manage HV designer and subcontractor design activities to align with the programme.
Act as technical lead for HV works on the project.
Track and report design inputs/outputs to Project Director and Engineering Manager.
Coordinate with MEP designers and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
Manage design documents, comms, and design queries from design workshops.
