This role is based in Edinburgh or Newcastle, focusing on designing high-speed digital Printed Circuit Boards for a new radar sensor project. You will work within a multi-disciplined team, handling the full engineering lifecycle from requirements capture to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a multi-disciplined team of engineers.
• Methodical approach to the full hardware design lifecycle.
• Ability to manage time according to project timescales.

Responsibilities

• Design high speed digital Printed Circuit Boards.
• Support throughout the full hardware lifecycle from requirements analysis to delivery.
• Fully document and record work products; provide plans and progress reports.

Skills

Schematic capture experience

Design of high-speed serial communication links

Debugging, testing and verification of new designs

Experience in hardware, firmware & software integration

Ability to communicate effectively

Education

BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc, PhD, EngD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related science
