Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is seeking a Senior Community Executive to advance our high-value community fundraising programme in London. You will build lasting relationships with high-value supporters, including bereaved families fundraising in memory of loved ones, and steward others to maximise generosity and create lasting legacies.

This 12-month fixed term contract offers a hybrid working pattern with a minimum of two days per week in our London office.

Qualifications

• Proven fundraising experience, with a track record of building and managing successful long-term supporter relationships, especially for In Memory.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to inspire, engage and influence others.
• Strong emotional intelligence, empathy and resilience, with the confidence to navigate sensitive conversations.
• A proactive, creative and strategic approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive fundraising growth.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Build and nurture meaningful, long-term relationships with high-value community supporters, particularly bereaved families fundraising through our Brighter Future Funds.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated supporters, helping them maximise their fundraising potential and make a lasting impact.
• Play a leading role in developing our Brighter Future Funds programme, using creativity and insight to enhance the supporter experience and strengthen long-term engagement.
• Lead on special stewardship events, including our annual Evening of Thanks, celebrating the incredible contributions of our supporters.
• Collaborate with teams & influence across the charity and hospital to create personalised, sensitive and impactful supporter experiences.
