Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is seeking a Senior Community Executive to join our fundraising team in London. The role focuses on building lasting relationships with high-value supporters, including bereaved families, and growing the Brighter Future Funds programme through thoughtful stewardship.

The fixed-term 12-month contract offers a hybrid working pattern with at least two days per week in the London office.

Qualifications

• Proven fundraising experience with long-term supporter relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence and resilience for sensitive conversations.
• Proactive, creative and strategic approach to grow fundraising.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture meaningful, long-term relationships with high-value community supporters, particularly bereaved families fundraising through Brighter Future Funds.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated supporters, helping them maximise their fundraising potential and make a lasting impact.
• Lead on developing Brighter Future Funds through creativity and insight to enhance supporter experience and engagement.
• Lead on stewardship events, including the annual Evening of Thanks, celebrating supporters’ contributions.
• Collaborate with teams across the charity and hospital to create personalised, sensitive supporter experiences.
