Job summary

SUEZ Preston is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service and repair a large fleet of vehicles, operating on a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday. The role offers a salary around £54,002.67 per year (£23.00 per hour) with overtime and a focus on a positive workshop environment.

Based in Preston, you will diagnose faults, perform MOTs, and ensure safety standards are met while contributing to a team that values training and career development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles.
• NVQ level in HGV maintenance or equivalent gained by experience.
• Experience with municipal vehicles is desirable.
• Capable of inspection to DVSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair of all types of vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults across the fleet.
• Prepare and carry out MOT inspections.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

Education
