Job summary
E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop team. You will maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles to keep customers’ fleets safe, compliant and operational, with ongoing technical training and clear progression pathways.
The role offers regular overtime, enhanced training, and career development within a supportive environment. A strong diagnostic capability and full UK driving licence are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
- Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance or repair.
- DVSA standards knowledge and ability to identify worn components.
Responsibilities
- Carry out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers, and fleet equipment.
- Complete routine inspections, servicing and PPM activities (tyres, oil changes).
- Maintain workshop stock and keep a clean, safe environment.
- Assist with fault diagnosis and plan effective repair solutions.
- Keep accurate maintenance and service records and paperwork.
- Provide roadside breakdown assistance when required.
- Complete warranty submissions and related administration accurately.
