Job summary

E3 Recruitment seeks an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop team in the United Kingdom. You will perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, carry out routine inspections, and ensure safe, compliant operation with a focus on quality maintenance.

The role includes specialist training, ongoing development, and regular overtime opportunities, with overtime paid at time and a half and paid call-outs; a pathway to long-term career progression is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience within commercial vehicle maintenance or repair

Responsibilities

• Carrying out major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and commercial fleet equipment
• Completing routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities, including tyre replacement and oil changes
• Maintaining workshop stock levels and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
• Assisting with fault diagnosis and planning effective repair solutions
• Keeping accurate maintenance and service records
• Providing roadside breakdown assistance when required
• Completing documentation, warranty submissions, and associated administration accurately and efficiently
