Job summary

Westin Par invites applications for an experienced HGV Vehicle Technician in Dover. The role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles in a modern workshop with a supportive team and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• 5+ years' experience on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• HGV Class 1 Licence.
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle diagnostics.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT testing.
• Assist with vehicle breakdown and recovery support as part of an on-call rota.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Accurately complete job cards and associated documentation.
