Job summary

Eco Renewables is seeking an Experienced Heating Engineer for an on-site role in Reading. You will install, service and maintain central heating systems, diagnosing faults and performing repairs while delivering energy-efficient recommendations to customers.

The role requires strong plumbing skills, LPG knowledge, and a valid driving license, with a focus on safety and accurate record-keeping in a busy field environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in central heating systems (installation, servicing, fault diagnosis).
• Experience with LPG systems and LPG safety handling knowledge.
• Proficient plumbing skills for pipework and hot water systems.
• Background in building maintenance related to heating, ventilation and related infrastructure.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear on-site communication.
• Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship in heating engineering or plumbing (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds).
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards and best practices.
• Full valid driving license and willingness to travel locally for on-site work.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate service records.
