Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join the Older Persons Assessment Unit within the Urgent and Emergency division, delivering same-day emergency care in a safe environment.

The role supports patients with privacy, nutrition, mobility, and vital signs documentation, under supervision, contributing to high-quality patient care across Trust services.

Qualificações

• Assist patients with sanitary needs, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained.
• Assist in meeting patients' nutritional needs and ensure red trays for meal support where required.
• Record vitals and urine/blood glucose as per plan of care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in skin and pressure area care under supervision.
• Support safe patient movement and use moving/handling aids.
• Undertake venepuncture, cannulation and ECG duties under supervision after training.
• Record observations and communicate changes to the nurse in charge.
• Support therapeutic recreational activities and document intake/output.
