Overview

Senior Healthcare Records Team Leader at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. We are seeking an energetic and confident person who will support the Deputy Healthcare Records Manager to provide a high quality and effective health records service. The Healthcare Records Department manages over 600,000 records in an on-site library, across the hospital and in an external storage location. The role will include the management of staff and ensuring resources are prioritised to manage all the day to day activities of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of service delivery and working processes within the Healthcare Records Department.
  • Support the Deputy Healthcare Records Manager to deliver a high quality and effective health records service.
  • Manage staff and prioritise resources to cover all day-to-day activities of the service.
  • Liaise with colleagues, clinicians, patients and visitors to facilitate effective health records management.
Qualifications
  • Experience in leading or supervising people.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, clinicians, patients and visitors.
