Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• UK PQS or cost consultancy experience.
• Healthcare project experience would be advantageous.
• MRICS progression or chartered status is beneficial.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing feasibility estimates, cost plans and project budgets
• Producing tender documentation and supporting procurement processes
• Managing valuations, variations and change control
• Preparing regular cost reports and financial updates
• Negotiating final accounts with contractors
• Advising clients on commercial and contractual matters
• Attending site, design team and client meetings
• Managing healthcare commissions through both pre- and post-contract stages
