Job summary

Brandon James is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join its healthcare team in Hertfordshire. You will support delivery of healthcare projects from inception to completion, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Ideal candidates bring construction consultancy experience, a degree in a related field, and progress toward MRICS or MAPM. This role offers clear progression to Project Manager within a supportive Hertfordshire environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification.
• Good understanding of JCT contracts and construction project delivery.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a construction consultancy environment and healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of healthcare projects from inception through to completion.
• Assist with programme management, consultant coordination, and procurement support.
• Handle contract administration, project reporting, and risk management.
• Attend client and site meetings and liaise with consultants and contractors.
• Develop ownership of project workstreams and smaller commissions over time.
