Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a care home environment specialising in senior care.
• Proven supervising experience demonstrating leadership within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Competence in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care per individual care plans while preserving residents' dignity.
• Supervise and support junior staff to foster a positive team environment.
• Assist residents with mobility, hygiene, medication, and meals.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and updates to plans.
• Communicate with residents, families, and MDTs for holistic care.
• Ensure infection control and health and safety compliance.
• Contribute to training programmes by sharing senior care expertise.
