Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, support Residents and families, and work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to maintain high standards of care.

You’ll help with medication administration, record-keeping, and delivering a range of social activities to promote security, dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
• Brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the kind of care to give residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
• Assist with medication and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.

Education

Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care (NVQ/SNQV)

Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent
